At Hope Cottage Studio, I aim to provide professional remote drum recordings and percussion no matter the style of music or scale of your project. With a large selection of microphones, drums, cymbals and plugins I am confident we can find a sound that works for your music.

Drum Kits

  • 1976 Premier Elite Mahogany: Warm, sustained and very musical. Think organic tone. This kit works amazingly well in situations that require drums with more sustain, tone, and ring. Great for singer songwriters and acoustic music but, with a change of heads, can emulate those huge 70’s rock sounds we all know and love.

  • Vintage Maxwin Concert Tom Kit: That classical concert tom sound, slap on some plate reverb and you have a very 80’s vibe. Add tea towels for that super tight and close sound. Perfect for more intimate songs.

  • Yamaha Stage Custom Birch: Super punchy and suits Jazz, New School Funk or songs that need that “tighter, brighter open” drum sound. Tune it down and it emulates R&B / D&B tones.
